Pastor

Tiffany Kromer

At a young age, Tiffany developed a heart for God and helping people. As a teenager and young adult, her faith blossomed through experiences in her local church youth group and worship in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Soon it became apparent to her that God was nudging her towards ministry. After majoring in religion and receiving a B.A. at Florida Southern College in 2005, Tiffany and her high school sweetheart, Tim, married and moved to Atlanta, GA where they both obtained their M.Div. at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. In 2010, Tiffany and Tim made the move from Atlanta to Maryland as they both followed God's call to ordained pastoral ministry in the Baltimore-Washington Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Tiffany brings with her to Trinity a variety of ministry experience with children, youth, Christian education, preaching, camping, pastoral care, outreach and advocacy, music and technology.  Tiffany is thrilled to be joining Trinity UMC in its mission to connect, empower and equip disciples of Jesus Christ as they seek to be the visible and active presence of Jesus Christ in the world. Tiffany describes Trinity as friendly, loving, and welcoming community of faith. She celebrates Trinity's gifts of hospitality, nurture of children and families, care for its community, strong lay leadership, and embrace of of new ways of being church in the world.

Here are a few fun facts about Pastor Tiffany:

  • Growing up in a military family, Tiffany lived in 7 states before 8th grade. In fact, her father continues to serve as active duty in the Air Force.
  • As a child, Tiffany imagined that by the time she turned 25 years old, she would be an amazing meteorologist, comic book illustrator, concert violinist and elite gymnast. She is now 29. If only she'd set the bar a bit higher for herself! Theoretically, this pastor gig could incorporate all her childhood aspirations. In the words of Justin Bieber, "Never say never!" Or maybe it's okay to say "never " on this one, for scientific, safety, and sanity purposes.
  • Tiffany knits and crochets unique, one-of-a-kind squares and rectangles.  For all your square and rectangular needs.
  • Tiffany discovered a hidden talent by accident when she was 7 years old, but It's really too complicated and silly to write down. So just ask her the next time you see her.
  • Tiffany and Tim are proud adoptive parents of Billie the dog. Billie is named after the great jazz singer Billie Holiday. True to her namesake, Billie the dog has an amazing singing voice...for a dog.
  • Cooking is not Tiffany's forte. However, she can sing to you while you cook for her. Maybe even play a song on the guitar or violin, if you promise to make her macaroni and cheese.
