Safe Sanctuaries Policy

Trinity takes seriously the safety  and protection of the children in its care.

Therefore, it has created     and implemented a Safe Sanctuaries Policy that screens and trains all lay volunteers and clergy in creating a safe place where children and youth can experience the abiding love of God within the community of faith.

Children in Worship

At Trinity, children are loved, cherished, and encouraged to participate and lead in the worship services.

On any given Sunday, you might see our children leading worship by reading scripture, serving communion, singing, taking up the offering, and lighting the candles. 

Trinity TorchBearers   for Christ

Your child is invited to become a Trinity Torchbearer for Christ (TTBC)!

What is a TTBC, you ask?

We are the new acolytes, torchbearers of Christ's light, for Trinity's Sunday services.

Tracy, the coordinator for TTBC, became a torchbearer when she was in the 6th grade and continued until she graduated from high school. Remembering her time as an acolyte, Tracy comments, "I still carry Christ's light at Trinity when I get the chance. I believe that being a torchbearer for Christ has played a major role in my development as a Christian. I pray that it will do the same for you."
